Aristocrat Gaming has a newly constructed facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma located near 145th and Admiral Place South.
This will be the start of a long-term commitment to the Tulsa community with a new 137,500 sq. foot facility. The new facility is comprised of a 112,500 square foot warehouse and a 25,000 square foot office space.
The purpose of the new facility is to allow Aristocrat Gaming to grow within the Tulsa community and to better serve their customers. This facility will serve to consolidate the three current VGT Tulsa facilities. Their new campus will house over 300 VGT Class II employees, with the local work force at one site the employees will function more efficiently and ensure their continued success. Proving even further Aristocrat is fully committed to their employees and the local community, they are already drafting plans to expand their campus.
LynxSystems’ contracted work at the Aristocrat Campus was valued at slightly over $600,000, with our scope of work including the installation of approximately 1,000 network connections with over 250,000 feet of CAT6A cable and 1,200 feet of interlocking armored fiber optic cable and 10,000 feet of composite multi-conductor cable for the low voltage systems which includes voice, data, wireless access points, cameras, and TVs and Access Control.
Our installation team built out (1) Server Room and (4) IDF rooms. The Server Room consisted of (4) fully enclosed 7ft cabinets with full wire management and wall-to-wall bonded ladder rack. The (4) IDF rooms consisted of (1) 4 post rack with full wire management and wall-to-wall bonded ladder rack.
LynxSystems install approximately 2,000’ of 12” x 4” wire basket cable tray suspended from 3/8” threaded rod throughout the warehouse and office area to support the cabling for the various low voltage systems.
From the beginning of this the 8-month project to the completion, LynxSystems personnel has self-performed 100% of the job and maintained a zero-incident safety record, primarily due to
our Safety-First Policy that elevates the employee and neighbor safety as our highest priority.
We have incorporated many components of the ABC STEP program into our approach to this project.
As we continue building our culture it is imperative that we increase our commitment to the Safety
of our greatest assets, our personnel. It is notable that we passed all OSHA Inspections on this
Project with zero safety infractions. Over 4,000 manhours were logged on this project without an OSHA recordable event.
Throughout the life of this high-profile project our project manager David Ayers, field superintendent Jeff Aubuchon and site foreman Andrew Jobe managed a team of experienced personnel and trainees on this project. LynxSystems experienced many challenges during this project. The Owner strongly emphasized esthetics in the open structured office design and 40-foot ceilings in the warehouse made the installation of 250,000’ of low voltage cabling extremely challenging. Compounded by the constraints of the supply chain, the manufacturer’s material and product deliveries were delayed and very inconsistent. LynxSystems was required to make frequent scheduling adjustments, increasing and removing manpower to accommodate the ever-changing needs of this project.
While on site we worked very closely with fellow ABC members; Third Generation Electric, Frazier Fire and DAVCO Mechanical. Each trade shared the limited ceiling space requiring tradesmen to coordinate effectively as an ABC unit to come up with creative and innovative ways to work within this space to ensure a proper cable pathway design for the initial cabling needs as well as for future adds and changes.
LynxSystems is extremely proud to play an integral part in the successful implementation of the Aristocrat Gaming Tulsa Facility. We look forward to being a partner in their ongoing growth.
